Great thoughts. Many times my desire to take great photos overdrives my ability to find them. I suppose this is the bane of the virtually limitless nature of the digital era. Self discipline has never been more difficult, at least for me.
I regret no reading this earlier. I am not sure where I read it or maybe heard it, but I have taken to heart the advice “photograph where you are.” My experience has been similar to yours, it took a while but I am finally “seeing” here. Hope you keep putting up content here.
